Hudson has played cello since he was ten years old. He has a passion for performing, teaching, and composing. Currently based in Connecticut, he can perform within the Connecticut area, and can teach in-person or online lessons.
Hudson has an undergraduate degree in cello performance from Drake University, and a master’s degree in cello performance from Penn State University. He also has a master’s in Music Theory from Penn State. Currently he is pursuing his doctorate in cello performance from The University of Connecticut.

Teaching
Hudson has over a decade of teaching experience. He is certified in the Suzuki teaching method through book three, with additional auxiliary trainings. Open to ages 4 through 84! Contact for rates
Performing
Performance is Hudson’s passion. He has performed a number of solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts. One of his most popular requests is for solo cello home concerts, which provide an intimate setting to hear the depth of the cello, and to learn about its rich history
Composing/arranging
Hudson has written a number of pieces, primarily for cello, although he can write for a number of standard orchestral instruments. He has also arranged music for a variety of ensembles, from the standard classical string quartet, to folk music
